Advantages of using heat pumps

Heat pumps are appliances whose operation is based on renewable energy sources. They are therefore an excellent alternative to “kopciuchy” (old coal-fired boilers), which will soon have to disappear from our homes. What is worth knowing about them? What are their advantages?

Heat pump
1. In harmony with nature

From an environmental point of view, a very important element of heat pumps is the refrigerant, which takes part in the heat-exchange process inside the unit.  Termet heat pumps use R32 refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly and efficient even at low temperatures. The global warming potential of R32 is only 675, which makes it eco-friendly. An additional advantage is its low flammability.

2. One appliance – many functions

A heat pump can do more than heat rooms and water. During summer heatwaves, the unit can also be used for cooling, just like air conditioning.

3. Comfortable heat regardless of the temperature

In Termet heat pumps we have applied EVI technology (enhanced vapor injection of the refrigerant). This makes it possible to heat a home efficiently even in a freezing winter, when extremely low temperatures occur (down to -25°C).

4. Heat with a subsidy

Termet products meet the requirements of the Clean Air (Czyste Powietrze) and My Heat (Moje Ciepło) programs, which aim to improve air quality in Poland and increase the share of eco-friendly heating sources.

5. For different heating installations

Heat pumps in the Termet range cover a wide supply-temperature range (from 30°C to 65°C). This means they can work with both a low-temperature installation with underfloor heating and a medium-temperature one, of the kind found in buildings fitted with radiators.
