Renewable energy: 5 reasons to use it

Green transformation. This phrase appears more and more often in discussions about the future of energy. Why is it so important? What opportunities do renewable energy sources offer? How can they be used in heating technologies?

  • Reduction of CO2 emissions and other substances harmful to the environment.

This is one of the main and most frequently cited advantages of switching to green energy. Reducing carbon dioxide emissions is a challenge we must take on to ensure a good future for our planet. It concerns heating in particular. Using heat pumps and condensing boilers and combining them with energy obtained from photovoltaics can be a solution that is not only environmentally friendly, but also provides thermal comfort in everyday life.

  • Independence.

By using renewable energy sources, we are not dependent on depleting resources. This affects not only the risk of supply shortages, but also rising prices of wood or coal. RES is also a good solution in light of the current geopolitical situation and problems related to gas. By choosing green energy, we gain a sense of comfort thanks to independence from external factors.

  • High efficiency.

Ecological condensing  boilers (also available in Termet’s range) are often mentioned as an alternative to traditional heat sources. One of their greatest advantages, besides low emissions of harmful substances, is very high efficiency, reaching as much as 109%, which is possible thanks to intensive condensation. You can find more information about condensing boilers in the Products tab.

  •  Automation of heating management.

Thanks to modern solutions used in heat pumps and heating boilers, home heating can be managed remotely, for example via an app.

  • Safety.

By deciding to replace a traditional stove with, for example, a heat pump, we gain a sense of safety. We no longer need to worry about chimney tightness or storing fuel. There is also no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
